Ruth Duckworth is a musician/composer/flautist with a history of exploring sound through; examining the under exposed corners of hers and others instruments, field recordings and their digital manipulation, as well as creating structures that will facilitate performances related to this research. She has written for Oren Marshall, Nancy Ruffer, Splinter Cell, and Claire Orme, amongst others. She has studied with Frank Denyer, David Prior, Alistair MacDonald, Nic Virgo, and is currently being supervised for her PhD by Lauren Redhead and Matt Wright. soundcloud.com/ruth-duckworth
Tom Kelly is a tuba player & composer currently based in Margate. He has played in groups such as London Jazz Orchestra, Sons of Kemet, Notes Inegales, and he is currently touring with Anna Meredith alongside writing the follow up album to her critically acclaimed debut ‘Varmints.’ His interest in new music has seen him performance at London Contemporary Music Festival, Nonclassical, & he is also featured in ‘We Break Strings,’ a publication documenting the London alternative classical music scene. As a composer, his music has been performed at London Contemporary Orchestra Hub Sessions, London Design Festival, Galateca Gallery (Bucharest) & National Maritime Museum.
